Becky's Hard Shoe

This is one of my hard shoe dances. I thought Irish dance would be an easy way to get back into dance, after all its just feet right?! Wow! It has really kicked my butt, but I have loved every minute of it. Hard shoe is by far my favorite. If you have already spotted the girl with lighter legs than anyone else you've found me.

Becky's Soft Shoe

I wish I could remember all the names for the dances but you'll have to settle for hard shoe and soft shoe. This one is a soft shoe kaylee (not sure if that's how you spell it but it is how you say it)!

Becky's Hard Shoe

I am the one on the far left in the front.

This top video is one of my hard shoe dances. Skip the time to 2 minutes (past the cute girls with green dresses). You can pick me out because I am the one that turns around at the wrong time. Down below is Maddy and Isabels dance. Maddy is the 2nd girl to come out and Isabel is the 4th. They were so good and had so much fun performing!

Happy Birthday Annie

She was quite the princess on her birthday! She loved her purse cake and her favorite present was the big purse with the dog in it. She has also been playing with the playdough and paints non stop. Isabel did get her outside for a game of catch with her new pink and white polkadot baseball mit. :) Lucky Annie got to have two parties because on the day of the recital Grandma and Grandpa Telford and Grandma and Grandpa Keeler were down. So we had a cupcake tree and she got to open a few presents early. The next morning she told me she wanted to do her birthday over again. So on April 19th we did. Just a little side note about Annie, about a week ago Maddy had an accident at night so I told her to get in the tub. Well Anna loves to bathe so she asked me if she could get in too. I said "no" because there was so much going on that day and I was swamped. Not two minutes later Anna came to me and told me she had peed in her bed so she needed a bath. Sure enough that little stinker had gone in her room and peed on her sheets (just like Maddy) so she could get in the tub. She is getting smarter everyday.

Piano Recital

Maddy and Isabel had practiced really hard on their duet of Camptown Races and they had fun performing for Grandma and Grandpa Telford and Grandma and Grandpa Keeler. Thanks Grandma Sandra for the lessons! It sounded just like music to a mothers ears!

More Easter Pictures

Easter Dresses

Believe it or not even Isabel had fun wearing her easter dress, she loved the way it moved and twirled when she walked! Here we are at Grandma Sandra and I can't think of a more beautiful place to take pictures.

Easter 2009

We love the Easter Bunny at our house! Maddy especially loves the eggs...she ate 18 (gross)! The girls had fun with their mermaid towels and Isabel was ready to play outside in the hose!

Isabels Baptism

Isabel was so excited to be baptised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She wanted her uncle Joseph to be there so we waited on her baptism for one month so he would be home from his mission in Switzerland. During that month she really had to learn what baptism meant to her. Grandpa Reese gave a great talk at her baptism about the promises and blessings that we make and recieve at baptism. She memorized it by heart and the next day in Sacrement mtg. she bore her sweet testimony about repentance and how happy she felt at following Jesus. I cried. At her baptism Isabel, Madeline, Anna, Bradon, and Kara (she was too scared to stand up with them but sang from her seat) sang "I like to look for Rainbows" and it was beautiful. Isabel also designed her pretty white dress. She drew me a picture and told me NO frills. That little incident reminded Grandma Sandra of another little girl she knew...me. We were blessed to have lots of family come that day and support Isabel. It was a wonderful day, one I will remember and cherish. Grandpa Thorpe noticed that she didn't waste any time changing into her "holy" jeans.

Ummmm, Ice cream

One more picture of the party and two super cute ones of Anna eating a Fat Boy.

Happy Birthday Madeline

Maddy enjoyed THREE birthday parties this year! The first one was at Grandma Pattys complete with a fish pond. Isabel helped grandma shop for Maddy and had fun putting the goodies on the fishing pole. Then came March 19th and we celebrated with an ice cream castle because Maddy doesn't like cake. She got a lot of stuff to play teacher with. A little later on in the week she had some friends over for a Rock Concert. They all got dressed up and had a blast.

Daddy and Me

Here is Anna resting after our adventure. She constantly curls up, perched is probably a better word for it since she balances on her elbows and knees on chairs, stools, couches, or even people. And what a cute daddy daughter photo.

Sledding

After Hardware Ranch we took the kids sledding at Old Main Hill. Maddy was a daredevil and went of a HUGE jump, she had a pretty big headache after that but it didn't slow her down any. Anna was not in the mood period. She spent most of our sledding time in the van eating powdered donuts. When we finally did get her on the tube she didn't want to quit. Isabel had a good time making sure everyone had the same amount of turns on the tube and telling everone when it was HER turn.

Hardware Ranch

Mark and I wanted to take the girls to Hardware Ranch to see all of the elk this year and they loved it! They took all the pictures and some of them even turned out, how exciting!

Anna just taking it easy! :) We were just kickin it with our friends and enjoying the snow. I love love love this picture of Anna...can we say Movie Star!
