Isabels Birthday

8 is GREAT!

She lost another tooth, liked the husky dog we got her but still wished for the real thing, and really dug into the dragon. It was seriously mutilated by the time the day was over but they loved it.

These girls are so fun to watch! I love going to their games. As you can tell their playing styles are completely different and totaly unique.

I love these snow pictures! When the girls are done outside they come in screaming for hot chocolate! I like to watch them from the windows of my warm kitchen.

Here is the "Twilight" tree! I don't know if you can see them but I hand painted the white tulips to look like the twilight flower.

And of course, my rocking horses were up!

I hope the Tooth Fairy has got her "A" game on because Maddy and Isabel are loosing teeth like crazy! I hope they like smoothies and baby food.

Thanksgiving '08

We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Keelers this year. The girls loved playing with grandma outside and Joshua inside. Next year we can go somewhere else for Thanksgiving so I can play too!

Everything that goes up must come down. Here is Maddy, sound asleep on top of a pile of costumes. When I found her we had been home from trick or treating for maybe 5 min.

Halloween

Mark had fun helping the girls carve their huge pumpkins with his jigsaw. You wouldn't believe the "guts" that it took!

We had so much fun Halloween night! Annie couldn't have been cuter! She was just a blur of black running from house to house, I've never seen her run so fast. Maddy was the leader of the pack, totally focused and always the first at the door. Isabel would have been content with a couple pieces of candy and a sword fighting buddy, she had fun trick or treating but it wasn't her priority. Dad wasn't going to dress up other than putting a bandana on his head and Isabel wasn't having any of it so she dressed him up as Harry Potter.

It's the first day of school!!

Maddy is in 1st grade and Isabel is in 2nd. They are so excited about having homework again...okay, more like hanging with friends at recess. I'm glad they are excited but I miss them when they are gone.

FYI

After much deliberation and coercion the Telfords have decided to join the throngs of raging bloggers. Hopefully conforming with sociaital pressure will enable us to keep in touch better with the people we love so much and never talk to. Much thanks to Crystal Nielson for talking me through the set up process and to Mandee Gillen for heading up the geek squad and helping me out when I was about ready to give up.
